Just seen this on ARD:-

Aviation Retail Direct is pleased to announce a new range in the InFlight series - a brand-new mould of 1:400 scale metal models of the same detail and quality associated with the InFlight name. The first releases in the InFlight400 range will be four British Airways Boeing 767 'World Tails': Benyhone (Scotland), Wings Denmark, Delftblue Daybreak and Waves of the City (USA). These models are fully licenced by British Airways and Boeing, and you can expect to see the first ones arriving towards the end of May - check our website for new information as we receive it!

 Inflight and 1/400th makes absolutely no sense at all. In a word 'Illogical!'.........

So far as UK concerned Inflight + Gemini = Same Importer/Distributor......

This can only serve to further weaken the marklet imho...........and believe me its FRAGILE enough!!............

Spock, Inflight won't see it like that my friend. What they will see is the total global sales of the 1/400th range and think "we can take x% of that" and if that "x" amount is a good one then why not enter the market......

Simple analysis, but what they do not see is the market is already flooded and fragile as you have stated.....

More a case I would have thought that Inflight have to do something, the LE part has been effectively sold off , theres more than enough 1/200 stuff coming onto the market, just be thankful they havent gone for 1/250, 1/300 or 1/500....:D

Thing is the mark up on a 1/400 must be huge...

Wonder if these are new molds...:D
