Prompted by Tricatus displaying his Aussie Herc tonight, here is a picture of my version, suitably modified. I do think that this is how Corgi should have done it in the first place, rather than the 'one off' that only ever appeared at one air display.

I bought this model cheap, because it had a damaged box, and I still have my original 'blue tailed' version. I know which one I much prefer.

The new tail flash is a transfer (a real pig to get the size/dimensions correct!), and the numerals are dry-print. The squadron badge is hand-painted both sides (no hurry to try that again!).

P.S. Any signs of the Delta Airlines Herc yet - it should have been out in April!

Cant understand why..? simple...... they have no idea of their market.. Looks much much better Mr A..

Sad thing is .. I cant even rememeber if I have this model... it may be sitting in some crevice or other..

Product of a recent J's sale, scored the Aussie Herc. Would have liked a plainer livery too, but I think it looks ok ;)

Lovely! That would make a smashing companion to my RCAF one. Pity the pooch never did the kiwi one, eh?

Well it would have been great to have one from all three of the commonwealth countries. BTW . . . what is 'maintenance mode'?
