Any one know the name of the painting/print of Gunther Rall's last flight in WW2 showing his shot up Me109 and 4 P47's. It is on the cover of his biography. I saw it at Fairford signed by Rall the artist and the surviving P47 pilots for £330 and now wish I had bought it

Yeah there was some serious Art for sale at Fairford (but then that figures) - Fine Arts had two (I say two) BoB prints signed by 20 Plus BoB Pilots and Aces - both were going for 2½K plus......
Very Nice though and proberly a better investment than a Pension scheme at the moment....

You got £2,500 to spend.. buy some original stuff.... Those piccys are a little overpriced.. 20 years on a wall , they will fade..., then the bugs get in....

.. was that at the end of the war..???... the 'art retailer' mentions that as 1944..
......reminds me of Blackadder.. Lieutenant George.." The Great War.. 1914 to 1917....."
