I have had two Chinooks now and both have had front antennae snap off really easily! Has anyone else had a problem with this?
Are they easily repairable? Would they glue back on ok? If anyone on here has managed their way around this problem I'd be glad to hear

Oh my.... Mine ain't come out the boxes as yet, but thanks for the tip and "watching" out......

I read somewhere that to attach parts, etc that you may wish to remove is to use "face" glue...... (Artist type glue). Now, I have not tried it, but what the drama artists use to stick-on face bits when acting, etc as it's easily removable, etc and Ive read it is easy to remove drop-tanks, missiles etc afterwards.......

Might be a good idea?

:)

Try not dusting them with a brick.

I highly recommend the ostrich feather duster, which is usually about 5-6 dollars, in order to do the dusting. Regular feather dusters are usually too stiff and knock off parts. Ostrich feathers were specifically invented for AA models I do believe :)

Maybe the Burbon B4 dusting is not a good idea!!!!! :o :o

Hey what can I say - she like cleaning - in fact I am almost certain that Monica from Friends was modelled on her!!!!

Stealth, I can't believe you let her anywhere near 'em.

Mrs D broke a plastic model a few years back (before I started on the AA's) & she hasn't touched the collection since!

Must get round to dusting them sometime..... :D

In which case, you are indeed a very lucky man and the loss of the odd toy helicopter? Well.....you can always get another, eh?

I don't let Mrs. Ross anywhere near them. Try to rotate the collection before the dust gathers too much. Cat's tail does wonders!
