Which colour?

Help!......I've just got the Airfix 1/72nd scale USAAF ground crew set and wondered which colour they should be painted. There is no info on the box. I tried Olive Drab but this looks too dark to me,. Any advice will be much apprecited. Miss Manooky needs her ground crew ASAP:)

Hi Snafu,
I don't know which Olive Drab you used, but strangely Humbrol do two Olive Drabs' No's 66 & 155. 155 is the better one for USAF overalls, along with 86 Light olive. Pilots uniforms are generally various mixed shades of US Tan 118. There are some pictures in the 1/72 figures section of my website.

Thanks Bee52, the Olive Drab I used was a Hannants one I picked up at DX. Appreciate the info:)
