Fan of V Bombers.... as to a flying one... what is really annoying is there is NOTHING to replace it at the shows (as in new planes) .. the number of display types is rapidly dwindling.. so we have to put it back in the air I suppose.. until the RAF have to requisition it.. :D

Don't have any in AA though, as I only collect 1/72.....

Actually I made the Airfix 1/72 version.
Only model I've got (diecast or made by yours truly) that doesn't fit in the display cabinet!
An AA 1/72 Vulcan would weigh a ton!

I love Vulcans and I reckon if Corgi get there finger out and make a 1/72 of XH558, for its first flight again, and actually have them at the airshow(s) in time, they will sell no problem, and at full RRP. As for future 1/72 Vulcans, well it says something when 1/144 are selling at the prices they are. It's simple, the general public love them!

That's a good point, G-force.
Unfortunately, we all know about Corgi's lack of marketing & timing..... :(

Absolutely - if XH558 does fly in 2006, then basically get 1500 models to Waddington in June 2006 - they will sell the lot, and at RRP as well....

Hello All,
I've just had my news letter from the Vulcan to the Sky Club and if any of you are interested in knowing how much more money they need to raise to close the gap here it is. £409,000
If I won the lottery the Vulcan would be back in the sky tomorrow. :D

CheersActually yes - The T&C's mention about getting permission from the original producer/manufacturer if you post this kind of thing. Copyright and all that.
I know a couple of the guys involved in the Vulcan To The Sky do occasionally visit the forum so if they read this, perhaps they could have words with whoever and get this information posted up.
We all are keen to know.
