But then you would choose one from the pair....!!!
I do feel that if you were a regular buyer, they should keep them all together until you have the optimum parcel size!!!

I'm sorry to ask such a simple question but do the dragon german aircraft have swastika markings on the actual models? I have never seen one of these dragon range in the flesh and I am tempted.
Thanks for your help

S/D... No they do not...... I know that Lofty on here buys his decals and puts them on himself.... Somewhere he has linked a site to get them, but despite that, they ARE lovely diecast models........ Obviously not fully replica.....

Can anyone point me in the right direction for some good overseas retailers selling the Dragon Warbirds range.
Have only bought the 'Grunherz' 109 so far but i quite like the look of the 190's.
Oversea's seems to be the place to go if you are buying as they dont semm to have caught on that well here yet.

Have ordered both of the limited editions from cyber-hobby. One of the conditions was my credit card would not be charged until shipped. Well that went out the window, my cards charged right after the order was placed.
Any inquires as to the status of these orders comes back with "will be shipping soon" bs form letter. Charge has been over 30 days, and lose the right to contest the bill in 60. Wouldn't be so concernded if cyber hobby would update the status of when the orders will likely "ship".
Was wondering if anyone had more current info on the status of these models.

26th September 2004, 14:25
It would appear that "Cyber Hobby" and Dragon Warbirds are one and the same. I.E. they are "owned" by a parent company-so hopefully its not time to panic just yet. <Gulp>

Midwest, States here, near Chicago. Got my first special order from cyber hobby in about 36 hours, once it was shipped. Although they had charged my card close to 30 days prior. Currently have 4 more order with them, all charged, and none shipped. What bothers me about the orders is, they state they will reserve the funds on your card (expected), but will not charge until shipped.
As far as the shipping charges, c an only speak for the first order it was as the orginal invoice. Their postage computation system, leaves a little to be desired. But they claim they will pick the best method to ship (to the states anyway), and that is the courier service with tracking number. My first shipment came UPS, delivered before 1030am here.
But the only game in town for the specials. Here in the states, your protected on your card for a disputed claim, but must be filed within 60 days. Once the charge shows on my statement, and no product I begin the charge back process to protect myself.
As a side, I remember reading someplace (perhaps here) that the first FW's were supposed to be shipped on the 6th of Sept. The second FW show's when ordering "to be added to the wait list" not in stock. So who know on that model.
The thrill of supporting a diecast habbit!

If they operate Hong Kong like the UK , then they are not allowed to debit your card UNTIL the goods ARE IN STOCK and being DESPATCHED.....Unless you have authorized them to in writing(or so i believe)

Cyber Hobby used to be pretty good about answering email request for info.
Now not even that. As soon as the charge shows on your credit card,
I would contact them and contest the charges. In the states they remove
the charge/interest until the investigation is complete. Just one of many reasons not to send "cash".
I have four orders going with Cyber Hobby. See now that the "in stock" has been changed to "add to waiting list". I don't mind waiting for a release,
but not really happy about my cards being charged. I understand the need to
reserve the funds, common practice on pre ordered items. But no way should your card be debited until the itmes are shipping.

Only just caught up with this - unless things have changed didn't CD-WOW actually charge your C/C straight away, because I know when I did used to order from them, especially pre-orders they used to.
I suppose ordering Die-cast from abroad is the same as ordering DVD's bit of a risk, firstly with the supplier, then with the posting, then with Customs, then if it gets damaged or is not correct.
Swings and roundabouts really....

Latest email for me from Cyber Hobby, claiming that they are going to be shipped early next week. But then they charged my credit card 6 weeks ago,
and a previous email stated they had shipped, and would contact the courier service for a tracking number. I have already started a charge back claim with my credit card. If the charge shows on your monthly statement, and you don't have confirmed shipping, I'd start the charge back process to protect yourself.
Seems the internet/mail order places wake up when contacted by MC/Visa.
