Hmmm, thats very interesting and very tempting, also the price is not a lot more than what MZ are asking for their current commissions, as Prune says "I don't know how he does it for the price."

I would have bought this and a few others from him a couple of days ago but he's blocked me from bidding.
I suppose it serves me right for paying immediately and then having the cheek to complain when I still hadn't received my purchases 3 months later.
Stangely he left me glowing feedback? Go figure!

I remember a thread running a few weeks ago with several DAF members making similar comments.
If it were not for this i would have probably bought this 262 myself, looked excellent.
My guesse is that with the low prices scaleplanes is charging (how does he do it? ) he is rushed off his feet. This would explain some of the delays with orders and replying to e-mails.

Guys,
Sometime ago Scaleplanes got a few mentions on the Forum and as such he received a lot of orders and then got a serious backlog of orders as well...
Unfortunateley at the same time as the backlog I know one of his family members fell ill and as such that didn't help matters also and I think your orders DB and others fell into the same timescale (as I e-mailed and Spoke with Scaleplanes myself) on behalf of some members here.
I am sure he has now got on top of the backlog or he would not be selling on the Bay and you also getting good feedback DB. :) He realised I think...
Hope that answers it a little.... I cannot put anymore as it's not my place too.

I'm sorry to hear about this. Had I known the circumstances I would not have troubled him. I would happily have waited as long as it took.
Anyway everything worked out well in the end. I received my models. And very nice they are too. I would highly recommend his work.
Still a bit miffed at being blocked mind you. Given the chance I'd spend a fortune on Scaleplane's models. At one point a year or two back he was talking about doing an ADV Tornado and T5 and F6 Lightnings. Hmmmm.

Thanks CFBC thought it must be something like this (sorry to hear about his family member being ill). I will keep an eye out for his models in future as they do look very good indeed.

Yeah, contact him and I am sure he would do that.... Easily done either way. :) Come to mention it he owes the Forum a model as a competition prize.... :D :) No rush.... ;)
