Sat 23rd Oct -AT 1.30PM FOLLOWED BY A sPITFIRE FLYING DISPLAY AT 3PM THEN A NIGHT TAXI RUN AT 8PM FOLLOWED BY A PYRO TECHNIC MOCK AIRFIELD ATTACK AT 8.45PM;

Okey I am considering attending the above, however looking at the timings are there things to do in between? To fill the gaps so to speak???

Anyone ever attended??

Not sure if you will be able to attend all the attractions with one charge, but normally you can arrive at 10 and stay most of the day....... Not sure about the night doo though and not sure If I will be able to attend.....

Thats getting close to my Mrs CFBC M.I.Day (GULP)......

yes the 3 PM till 8 PM is a bit of gap...I thourght they normally did the 'daylight' run a bit later in th eafternoon, probably not this time due to the spitfire flying.. you could always pop off to Skegness for a couple of hours and buy some dodgy shorts !! The museum if you've not before is an hour or 2 wander around i suppose.. I'm planning to be there unless its tipping down with rain...

oh heres my nephew sitting in said Spitfire.. he phonned me up afterwards just to make sure that I knew!!

Thats true NeilD.... Ge could go and pick-up some dodgey chish and fips also from Skeggy....... So bracing it would be!!!!!

Migh get lost on the way back though in the dark..... For your information Stealth... East Kirkby's about 45-50 minutes from Lincoln..... Back, crap roads also.......

Will have to see if I can get my passout.... If I get me dad interested, no worries...... :) Mrs CFBC willnot comment..... Well, she will BUT........

She has about next Sunday....... Something like "well, it's only six weeks until I move in" and "you still have lots to do" - WHAT.......................

"back crap roads".. ??!

oh yes you be careful there, comming over from the big city!! :p we got none of them there fancy streetlights and suchlike round here boy!

go on, try for a weekend pass... just need to persuade Mrs CFBC how much quicker she'll be able to get on with the jobs around your house with you out of the way!!! :D or do you need to be there to make sure the place doesn't end up too 'girlie' (assuming its not already! :D )

HHHmmmmm - have to give that one some thought - a ways to travel for a 30 minute night shoot, wanted to try and make at least half-a-day of it.....

Stealth, no guarentees I can make it, but if can set aside the day, perhaps you can come over and we can go to E.K and back to LIncoln and same again or go to the coast..... Use my motor too with the fuel issue..... No worries.....

Lets see how I get on and closer to the time........ I would like to go to an evening pyro show..... Thy are good I hear.... As does my father........

weather looks a bit iffy for this... also the Spit display may be a problem as I heard today that someone has dumped several tons of sugarbeet on the runway ! I'll most likely be there at some point during the day as its only down the road from me... the 23rd Oct one may be better as theres the Spit flying in the afternoon then an afternoon lanc run, then the night run so less hanging around time..

End of November then, although if this completely bizarre weather continues it will probably be under three feet of snow by then.

We had thunder, lightening and a 10 minute hailstone storm yesterday....
