I realise this has been mentioned before, but I can't get this outta my mind!
Why has no manufacturer made a decent diecast model of Concorde!!??
I'm talking a good 1:144 scale or even 1:72 at least. I realise some diddly small ones have been done, but none of the big players for some reason including Corgi have touched it. I think the biggest attempt has been at 1:250 scale and it just don't do such a beautiful bird justice. The wooden manufactures have done it but at a very high price!
Surely Corgi would be on a guarenteed seller here, and the mould is easy peasy to manufacture!
I reckon there could be some kinda legal restriction/copyright from British Airways. All other explanations seem to defy logic. It's up there with all time iconic planes alongside the Spit, Wright Flyer, Lanc, DC3 etc.

Cheers Agent! Is this one you own? I hadn't realised a 1:200 one had been done. That's a reasonable scale and IMHO 1:250 is far too small for Concorde.
Are these still available?
A 1:144 from Corgi would be nice!

Ok I'll have a look out Agent. What's your opinion of em? D'you think they've done a good 1:200 casting of her?

Crappy photo... theres the eight BA ones and about 6 Air France ones... i.e you can collect the registration that you want ( excepting the crashed French one)... BA one... but an excellent model.. heavy and quite delicate...

IMHO the pooch wont get near on the quality....
