Some people just really p*ss you off, not only is he a brilliant modeller, he also takes good photo's. Big model too if my sums are right, a wingspan of around 7ft 4ins. If he converted all the imperial measurements to metric first then... well I would have given up then.-blush-
I loved his comment "The model has its mistakes, but I’ll leave the experts to spot them, as they most certainly will, plus others I don’t even know about. I don’t pretend the little Spitfire is perfect, but I do hope it has captured something of the spirit and incomparable beauty of this magnificent fighter"
In answer to him I have to say yes he has. :oo: :oo:

Stunning. .:oo:
Fitting that such an amazing model will be dislayed at the RAF Museum. If that was in Red 2 Towers, I would give up collecting:grin: ...how can you top that? He must be extremely proud and justifiably so.

I receive an email newsletter from the RAF Museum which states:
'This highly detailed and unique 1/5th scale model was hand built over eleven years, by (company director) David Glen, using many original Supermarine factory drawings.
It was kindly donated to the Museum by Mr Glenn and is exhibited in a display case donated by the Royal Air Force Museum Society of Friends and can be seen in the Conference Reception of Historic Hangars in London'
