It actually does not say..... So not 100% sure of it really.... References are not "CS", but P7350< LF363, ZA947 and PA474 (102mm, 102mm, 110mm and 120mm for the Lanc).....
Normally the Showcases start with CS....... Say's they normally retail at £5.99 each..... :)

NOt as such, although they show the Dak on a clear small stand like the Showcase series.... Just that the references don't match-up!!!

Thing that is annoying is that its the same old planes being marketed again...you would think other colour schemes would at lease provide some sort of variety...

The Corgi Showcase line is being marketed in the US under that name, and prices are around $6.00 or so for each one. I think the majority of the fighters are in 1/120 scale, while multi-engine types run to much smaller scales.
Wal-mart has a deal with Corgi: you can buy a package of two Showcase models for $3.98. !!
I've collected all of the models in the "100 Years of Flight" series, plus a number of extras, including a 1/144 Wessex. This helo is done very nicely.
I think I have about 34 of these so far. You can do a Web search for "Corgi Showcase" to find out more about these.
I have noticed there is a difference between what's available in the UK and the US. We don't have ready access to the Showcase Lanc, BAe Hawk, DH Tiger Moth, and some others.....sigh.
If you're a modeler, the Showcase line is nice to tinker with since none are limited edition. Inking in panel lines, painting bare plastic, adding nav lights, & etc.

Yeah I saw that as well, can't say I got THAT excited by it - now 1/72 would be another thing entirely...

:) Mr.Bob,- At the end of the day thats what modelling is all about!! Many Showcase items whilst not to a constant scale make excellent relatively inexpensive pieces to improve upon.
Mr. Charley - Yes they are toys but then again raw material to a modeller...

Here's what can be done with these little miniatures. Many of them are quite well done, and can be further enhanced by inking in panel lines, painting where needed, adding navigation lights, and just having modeling fun.
Since they're unlimited, inexpensive, and small, you have many options.
Besides, you're big now: you can do what you want! :D

What's a True Briton without his Wessex?

Bob,
Very nice! Maybe your Wessex will inspire Corgi to give us the beast (and its variants) in 1/72?

Bob how do you find the time? Look good though but I will still give the showcase a miss.

Very nice detail work, Bob. I'm inspired to give that a try myself, maybe even some complete repaints on a few dupes I have. What did you use for the panel lines, technical pen?

Yep, a Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph with a 3X0 tip. The panel lines appear black and harsh in the photos, but in actuality they're much lighter and more subtle. I use transparent water-based light gray ink from Dr. P.H. Martin. This ink flows readily and wipes off easily with a damp cotton swab if I make a mistake or don't like the effect.
