Hi does anyone know of a decent mosquito aviation artwowk.They all seem to show the mossie at either high or low altitude with everything tucked up why cant some one do one like say the lancs with gear down sitting at dispersal,being armed up or just back from a mission.?? :rolleyes:

Bj..... What about the Osprey range of books as they have good colour middle sections showing the various designs and squadrons that were.....

They do look nice though!!! :)
$160 for a 250 Ltd Ed print.... Not bad.... Cheapr than Mckenzie Thorpe's!!! Just gotta find a wall spare.............

That is her I am speaking about..... She's expensive to keep.... I tried to trade her with Agentx, but she would not go!!!! :(

Hang on you lot.. are we talking artwork as in prints or artwork as oin reference profile stuff...
If artwork, go to the Aviation Art thread and get the GAVa link... stoll through the hundreds of pages of artwork and there are a few mossies there, all original stuff some still avilable... infact link below..
Coulsons the Jailbreakers is a good one or the two mossies flying low very early print, something like Holland 1943 ..cant remember the name..

Favourite Mossie piccy from this year.. about the fourth one down.. entitled everything down.. a Mossie coming into Hatfield..., well I think its Hatfield..!! Only about £1500 and still for sale!!!! (one of the wheels dont look right though!!)

Got this print the other day (my 1st :) ) from an ebay seller, liked the look of it from the tiny ebay photo but it MB's much larger/clearer version photo that sold me on it :cool:

I was able to interview Lou a few years back and a friend in England was able to find one of his cobat his reports in the archives at Kew. Recently he was on the cable channel on a special discussing the mosquito.
