I thought I read somewhere on this forum that Corgi was going to start making eastern military helicopters. I hope this is true. Does anyone know for sure or have any links to pictures or articles? Anyone have any diecast eastern helos like the Hind or Hip? I have the motormax hind, its ok, nothing special.

First I've heard of it.

By the way, welcome to the forum, very interesting user name you have chosen.:)

It's nothing I've heard about either, though a Hind would surely do well.

The motomax one is more on the side of being a toy rather than a model. Only just slightly though. It still looks really nice on a shelf next to others that are about the same scale. 1:60 I believe. Up close it doesnt hold up to scrutiny but from a distance it looks ok. If you were any good with painting models you could improve it quite a bit yourself.

That's the big Mil thingy isn't it?, rocket pods all over the place and two bubble like cockpits one behind the other, awesome....wouldn't mind Airwolf either
