Saitek Cyborg's have always worked well for me. Avoid Logitech sticks as they don't seem to have much durability in my experience. Hope that helps mate.

I would have said the Microsoft Sidewinder Force-Feedback 2. :)
until I spilt a cup of tea on it. :o

Either of the 2 joysticks previously mentioned as I have tried out both and found them both very good it is just a matter of personal preference.

 Agreed:D
Most computer games are easily navigated with basic keyboard/mouse controls but when it comes to flight sims a joystick is a definite must have:)
I also use a Microsoft Sidewinder but without the "force feedback" facility. It is a great stick for my limited skills and if still available should be very cheap as it is yonks old:D

This could be the ultimate joystick control for any flight sim game you will ever come across though the excessive deposit for one of these could be a little hard to come by and put it out of the reach of most die hard flight simmers:(
Won't matter how good or bad your skills are at "flying" this joystick is perfect for the experienced simmer or the novice and make you feel like you can really "FLY, FLY, FLY".
Would love one of these:)

I have been happy with the CH Products controllers. It's high quality. Their Control Manager program gives you a lot of flexibility setting up what the buttons, sliders and axis do. May be a little pricey for some.

Tried them all and the best has to be the CH products combat stick. Solid quality although pricey this beast will last you a lifetime. Think about it you will probably buy 2 joysticks at 35 quid each or more in 2 years maybe sooner if its a Logitech. The combatstick bad boys will save you all that hassle at the paltry price of £75.
