Really nice will buy it if it is not a horrible legend. Wonder if there is any chance of them doing mountbattns aircarft now.

Umm. Not the most exciting Dak livery I can think of ... but at least there's one out .... and it's not a Leg end!
As a Dak freak I will of course buy this model whilst continuing to dream of what might have been ... even if it had to be in military guise. Canadian TT, Indian AF etc.
Ah well, ... roll on April 2005. :(

I've got a photo somewhere of Monty's Dac parked on the pan at Gatow just outside where I used to work - damn, have to buy the ****** thing now I suppose! Like I haven't got enough DC-3s

Not seen one in the metal yet but from the pictures I've seen it does look very similar to the previous silver RAF one so can't say that I'm in big rush to get this one.

Presume you mean Monty's. Yes but then Legends generally don't appear as often as expected at the toyfairs. Took me me quite a while to find the USAAF Legend Dak.

The Mule has them listed as in stock. CHC still says "AVAILABLE JANUARY - PLEASE PRE-ORDER NOW! " but that may be because they have forgotten to update the page?

Want a rare Dak? Try the Eddie Stobart version. They are about but still at full RRP!

I managed to find one at around the twenty mark and another just over DC and could not resist because like you I felt these held their price.... :)

AA30013 Douglas Dakota 1V KN628 No. 4 Sqn Personal Aircraft of Field Marshall Montgomery in 1:144 scale.
It is a Legend with fixed undercarriage.
If I've done this right, there is an image attached.
