Taken from the UK Warbirds website news page.
Another Hawker Hurricane is set to take to the skies once again. Hurricane Mk 1 R4118, has been restored by Hawker Restorations at Milden Suffolk and is their fifth Hurricane to be restored to flying condition. R4118 is a genuine Battle of Britain veteran scoring five kills in 49 sorties during 1940 whilst serving with 605 Squadron, thus she wears her original markings complete with UP-W codes. The aircraft is owned by Peter Vacher and made it's first engine runs on October 4th, and it's planned that she will be displayed in 2005.

She looks fantastic! I hope she stays in the UK. Wouldn't it be great to have a formation with the BoB memorial flight Spitfire Mk IIa (P7350) so that two true BoB classics were flying together again?

It would, however sadly the BBMF rarely, if ever flies with other privately owned warbirds, I'm sure NeilD could tell us more about BBMF rules on such things.
There is another BoB veteran Spitfire Mk 1 AR213, but I haven't seen this machine since the BoB 60th airshow at Duxford in 2000, UK Warbirds has it listed at Booker, Bucks.

no I dont know what their operating procedures say about flying with non-RAF a/c... but I will try and find out...
but talking of AR213 and Booker.. here it is in the background at Booker about 20 years ago... aah them were the days! I dont know who owns/operates it now, dont recall seeing it for a while

We have it listed as "operated by Personal Plane Services for Sheringham Aviation", though as you say it's not been seen for quite sometime. We have marked it as resting.*

But rules are meant to be broken!! Flying legends 2005 would be a great chance to do this as a one off to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the BoB!!
