A most excellent link there Bob. Despite my handle, the Connie is my favorite plane of all time. Possibly the most beautiful aeroplane produced, ever. Don't forget guys, the TWA connie at Science Museum Wroughton. And I have fond memories of the Royal Air Maroc with 'luggage pak' climbing extremely low out of heathrow over our house in Hanworth circa 1969. sigh

Sure did! The very last Indian Air Force Super Connie to visit the UK was in August 1973, and I saw it depart! Sad day! :(

On a good day you could see them on approach to Northolt from the top of the Queens Building.. :D

NeilD do not start me off on this one. The closing of the Queens building viewing area I feel is political and permanent. Must admit I never spotted the Indian connie at Northolt. My school (SYON) was under the approach for 28(27) R.
