I'll speak up for the 1/32 line and say I'm estatic for it. Given the increasing popularity of other 1/32 military models, I think it will ultimately pay off for Corgi. Yes, they are large and expensive, but if you can accomodate that, then why not?

Since the number of repaints for 1/32 is much lower, maybe this is where Albert thinks the Typhoon would belong. I certainly hope so. With the growing amount of 1/32 Forces of Valor German armour running around my basement, I need something to level the field.

The idea of a 1/32nd Dambuster Vulcan was over the top. I love it. Now how about a 1/32 Sunderland complete with beaching gear, depth charges that roll out on underwing racks, front retracting turret, etc. in full Coastal Command livery. Now that would be one fun bathtub toy.

See post 49 above where I asked if a 1/32 B model Mustang had been talked about and some chap, name escapes me, (in post 50) said it had! I'd certainly be interested to hear what others think - with the B model hybrid nearing completion at Duxford (to fly) it would be great to see that represented in the Corgi range, though I've heard it will be painted as either 352nd FG Princess Elizabeth, or Gentile's 4FG mount....... - so, straw poll (it would be new moulds) - how do people feel about a B/c model Mustang? Yes or no?

remember seeing the Blue Angels flying Phantoms at Hucknall in nineteen hundred and frozen to death. Apart from Charles Masefield flying a red Mustang in formation with the Red Arrows (I think it was the same year) they were the highlight of the show - I have the Blue Angels Phantom leader (bought as a momento of seeing them at Hucknall:cool: , gosh this is a midlife crisis) but not the Herc! Interesting point Minter! Some years ago I worked on a Bucc squadron and all the SHFP's all seemed to be under 5'8" tall. I wondered if that was coincidence. I was also told that smaller guys suffer the effects of G force much less - but wonder if that is just a rumour promulgated by the vertically challenged! And dont try and tell me the Bucc was a bomber either! Also, Tom Cruise does have his own Mustang (airworthy) but probably more as an investment than a big boys toy (forgive the pun). However, Hurricanes should be used (Michael Mann take note).....
