Dragon Models USA have posted a couple of pictures of a C5-B. Best off all there seems to be no nasty wing joint that spoils Gemini's C17.

Trouble is it will be too plasticy for my liking.

Yeah that put me off Dragon 1/400 models too. :(

I'll wait an see. Dragon's 707 and DC10 models both had plastic wings, but the new C130 model is all metal (well apart from the tail). Should go nicley with Gemini's Antonov AN-124.

I think I'll hold out until GJ bring out a C5.

I see Dragon are also doing a 1/400 B-29. You'll need a microscope to see that one.

As Corgi produced the B-29 in 1/144, it does beg one question: why? GJ seem pretty committed to producing military transports, so hopefully a C5 will be on offer soon. I'd like to see them make a C-141! ;)

Supposedly the Dragon Galaxy is very very good.

So that's (http://www.flightlevel350.com/random_viewer.php?id=2) how George W. gets his Cavalcade over here for his merry jaunts!

Rusty, they are a good model. Good news is the 60th AW - Travis AFB w/camouflage markings is due to be released in August:

Hopefully they'll get round to releasing one in the classic MAC white and light grey scheme. Like Dragons F15's, there are only so many grey C5's I can take.

Is the C-17 bad? I was considering one of these.

G-Force, maybe I'm just to picky. Here's a photo of the wing joint:

Oh, that looks a bit nasty....and for the money?

Here's another:

I haven't been tempted for £25 (could buy ten times as much Corgi metal for that), but would definitely buy for £10-15.

Much better - I'm sure we all agree! Only $30 + P&P.

Looking to get one or two next year after having walked through one at RIAT the other day!

And if you get one that tail heavy it'll be forever trying to take off when you don't want it too.. Stuff it on a stand and that sorts it . :D

Finally, Dragon have released the euro-one scheme C-5B Galaxy.

Dragon USA have posted several photos of the model here:

I was realy looking forward to this, but now I'm not sure. The colours just don't seem right.

I saw the C5B recently, and was very impressed. The wings are actually metal rather than the usual plastic!
