I've come across the Tuskegee working range Mustang and wondered whether anyone had one of these? I'm aware that the working range wasn't the most popular but some did like the Tuck Spit. Even Tri doesn't have one of these. Does that not bode well for the model? I really like the Tuskegee models and have 4 but am missing this one and the Eagles International in 1/48. our views would be appreciated.

I didn't know one had been released. Apart from the stand the silver ones seem to show the large amount of plastic in the model which is a shame. I have the Matchbox P51 and Corgi P47 both of which I like. A 1/32 version would be nice but all that plastic.....

Mule has em..
Had a play with a Jersey Jerk in MZ.. IMHO really quite crappy... the u/c retraction sequence is not all there for a P51.. but one expected that from the off...
Basic shape though on the pooch 1/32 aint too bad... better than that 1/35th lot...

Have'nt got one, shame they did'nt release a Tuskegee in standard trim :o
If its anything like the other working ranger's it won't like sitting on its U/C, having a spare 'normal' stand would be handy. It looked ok to me in the Mule's photos ;)
Best price I found was at onmarkint
This talk of 1/32 P51's has got me thinking of picking up another one, probably in green :)

I've never seen this one either. A US special? AS for the working range, yet to see one I like particularly, especially with that naff stand.

PARDON...?  :p :D  It is.... the reason why it is not favoured is something to do with the lack of metal...:)

GMP? Only have 1 GMP and 2 Corgi (1:32) stangs and must admit I have never had them on display long enough to compare them. In what way is the Corgi better?....(hinges?)

I just think the Corgi looks more Mustanglike... little in it...

Just checked, looks like the $59 jobs are sold out -unsure-
I think Peter, Paul & Mary used to own one.......-smile
"When I was just a wee little lad,
Full of health and joy,
My father homeward came one night
And gave to me a toy.
A wonder to behold it was
With many colors bright
And the moment I laid eyes on it,
It became my hearts delight.
Refrain:
It went zip when it moved and pop when it stopped,
Whirrr when it stood still
I never knew just what it was and I guess I never will."

I had a deprived childhood - I had to listen to the Val Doonican version.

There was a 'J/J' at ModelZone Holborn last weekend for £29.99 with u/s electrics. I opened the box, but it really looked rather toy-like and plasticky to me.
I left it and got the Spitfire instead....:)
