So, as I have been out and about playing with my camera, I thought I would take a few shots of some of my collection and let you guys see.... This is only a very small amount that I have displayed, but feel free to have a peek......

Anybody else got any photo's of their collection they want to share? ;)

Thanks for sharing, CFBC, it's always fun to see another's collection.

What's that on the second shelf from the bottom, slightly left of center? Did you manage to extricate this from the iron grip of British Customs after I had insured it for £100? :D

....and what's that, third shelf from the top, just left of center, in the rear?

Me... Upset.... Mois???
Bike is by sign post. other kid? with racing bike is me mate. Note: the extra tight security fencing system at Heathrow at the time. Although, we used to dodge the Army with machine guns patrolling the perimeter fence. (IRA at the time for you younger peeps.) ;) reckon this must've been circa 1971.
Seriously I would so love to find the original picture. Not accredited in the book. Any assistance would be much appreciated. :)

Here we go Minter... It's bl**dy hard to photograph as it's a mirror backed cabinet and it's in the corner of the room, but here is five shelves worth... Nothing too heavy on them, but have the Axis force out in style and the RAF along with the Lancs........

When (I say when) I get my loft done (Mrs CFBC made me do the bathroom first - next project is my loft), then I intend to have the WHOLE dam lot displayed on shelves..... :)

Heres some piccies....

Yes Minter... That is my aim... My Loft space already has a new window in it as I had the roof re-done last year and it's about 10ft x 15ft x 9ft high, so a lotta room there for shelves and display purposes..... 1/32nds also!!!!

Hopefully.... Mrs CFBC is just saving for me now...... :D

Excellant piccies D/C. Very nice mix of types and liveries. Some rarer birds in there as well.
Note to CFBC: Nice picces as well. Notice the civvy lancs. Be careful, Be verry caareful.
First symptoms of civvyitus is buying one civvy, then like a drug, if you don't buy another the shakes set in, blurry eyes and this feeling/aching in your gut. YOU HAVE to have a Cunard Brit. YOU have to feed the Habit.......
Just look at agent :D :D

My thanks to Mr Orange for sorting out the pictures of Corgiworld,

Agent what you see is about 30% of what I have out, the cabinets are big and there are 3 of 'em, I should have had shares in Argos ;) , in densepack mode could probably get 70 per cabinet, excluding the bif stuff (Lanc's , 1/32 P-51 and Spitfire ) Also have a dozen or so in boxes which may make it out one day.

When the collection was smaller and I had a few more marbles   I had a bigger room to display them in but they were on shelves. I'd recommend cabinets any day even though the models do get dusty it takes a lot longer for that to happen.

Thanks to all for the positive feedback . :D

A very impressive collection, D/C, do you have 'em all? Thanks for sharing your photos: always interesting to see another collector's collection. One good reason is that you can show those of the feminine persuasion who rule the roost with an iron hand that your own puny collection is insignificant by comparision..... :D

Here is part of the Shuttle collection! Note the Hawker theme with the Hurricanes and Hunters (though a Suez Corsair has crept in!) plus the Spitfires. The .303 bullets are from various stands at Duxford along with the .50 cal slug (this should be with my Mustang collection I think?). Postcards from the IWM shop.

More models old pal. These photos were a couple of months ago, so now the bottom shelf is all jets and choppers, the middle shelf is all heavies on stands and a nice line of spitfires and the top shelf is all 1:32nd. I also have a small unit at the top of the stairs which houses the rest of my 1:72 WWII fighters and has my 1:400 stuff on the top.
