Ah, Stealth - you'll be able to wallow in nostalgia with these !
The Airfix book is very nice, with many reproductions of the Roy Cross paintings ( remember the Lanc with the burning engine ? ;) )
Frog finally vanished off the scene quite a long time ago now - kits are eagerly sought-after by collectors.....

I think the Frog moulds ended up in the USSR? A company called NOVO used to issue them. I still have a few lurking in my garage!! Frog used to complement the Airfix and Revell range with some unusual subjects (Whittle jet, Vimy and some RN types like the Sea Fury and DH Hornet).

Perhaps should also add this (http://www.crowoodpress.co.uk/780/book_detailsairlife.asp?ISBN=1+84037+326+1) to the list as well.....

Remember that coming out... had to create another series to accomodate it... nearly five weeks pocket money that took (12/6)... and still had change for a pound.... (7/6)

Have these Airfix and Classic Kits books on my shelves. Picked up the later at the IPMS Telford show two weeks ago and Arthur Ward was there to sign it.
Wonderful feast of nostalgia these books.... you'll love them :D
