In which case, I'd expect Gemini have the license if they've used the roundel on those boxes. As an aside, didn't know Gemini have done a Tristar? If so, is there a white Transport Command one?! :D
Jet X have made 1/400 RAF Tristar, think they have done 3 or 4 white ones

I have two RAF Tristars. Gemini released a white RAF Tristar some years ago GJRAF034 portraying ZD953. This is a very rare Gemini that was never released officially in the UK. It was a special edition only on sale in Hong Kong that a certain Mr Noble got hold of for me! The grey RAF Tristar that I have is ZD951 that was released under the Gemini MACS name a year or two ago.

Thanks for that, most interesting! Why on earth did they do a tanker and not release it in the UK though? that's bizzarre! Any chance they may do another white one then? :)

jet-x have released tristars and have another about to be released with refuelling probe.
the only others released have been the blue box pair, one grey and one white scheme.
never seen any others released by gemini apart from the one original white scheme and no others are on thier database.

Do the Jet X ones have those daft red covers over the intakes? Hope not. :( Does anyone know where I may be able to order one of this white IFR probed ones? Really wanting a white Tristar :)

The Gemini Tristar is very rare indeed, I've certainly never even seen one except in a picture!

the covers come with the blue box versions and are removeable.
dragonusa have the latest version available along with a grey/green camo VC-10 for preorder and a hemp version is available.
the JET X VC-10 looks a bit underscale compared to the gemini though.

The VC-10 does look a little clunky, undercarriage looks nowhere near as finely done as the Gemini one. RAF Tristar looks nice, but don't know why both of these have droopy IFR probes though. Any ideas who in the UK will be stocking these?

Will be looking at aquiring what I can come pay day, which is just over a week. Does anyone know if ARD will accept phone orders? Sadly they don't have ZE705 anymore, but hopefully will still be able to get the other two :)
