What's the story here?
Tricatus, the source of all (my) knowledge shows 500 (1500?) for a production run and I can't find any explanation.
Any ideas?

There are two Corgi Swiss Hunters, the aerobatic (AA) one, and then a seperate individual commission of 500 plain camo ones, (presume its the same folks that have done the Swiss Vampire and Swissair A320..) but there seemed to be two versions, one with a photogaph available fro the commissioners, the other a plain white sleeve.. the latter seemed to find its way to the Toyfairs etc where it didnt really bin, but it never really commanded a high price.....

Ah..., I see. :)
Many thanks.
Do you know if the models in the two runs are identical or is it possible to tell them apart?
I'm assuming that it's 1500 of the "white sleeve" and 500 of the "Picture box"?
(Not that I've ever seen a "Picture box" one except for Tricatus' photo)

IIRC the "special" 500 run also had a very ltd number with a special picture sleeve and seem to remember a post where these were distributed to Swiss Air Force personnel:unsure:

I have the plain white box version and the serial number on the plane is identical to the one on Tri's site, J4068. It would seem that only the packaging and certificate are the differences between the two.

AA32708 Hawker Hunter F.Mk.58A – Swiss Air Force J-4025 ‘La Patrouille Swiss’ Aerobatic Team released in Sep 04. Model released earlier than originally planned Nov 04. Followed by AA32710 Hawker Hunter F.Mk.58A – Swiss Air Force J-4068 in Sep 04 which had been commissioned for a Swiss retailer. Shown on the retailer's web-site as limited to 500 plus printed on box-slip but 1500 were apparently produced with 1000 made available to other retailers in just the plain white box. No certificate or limited edition stand, so the only difference appears to be the box-slip.
