Well Agent you could be right then (you usually are) at 30.00 GBP a piece and a max. run size of 3,000 that's 90,000 GBP! They are really giving it to the Civil crowd. Not much reason to be "civil" about that deal!

And they will be selling the 1/1 scale ones for how many millions EACH.

I don't love Boeing that much! This is just highway robbery and we all know what they did to that lot.

I can think of lots to say about these Manus but I had better stay quiet

It's not the manufacturers fault.. more that they are 'making copies/images' of a product/trademark, (in many cases protected) and as the operation is now one of a global nature, the 'rules' are all over the place..

The worst case scenario is having to be licenced for both manufacturer and carrier and if that is the case, for the main manufacturers, the run size would be 200-500... It's a bit hit and miss at the moment, the likes of Inflight state on the box that their product is licenced by Boeing, yet Aeroclassics, (who are rather outspoken when it comes to some of the more shadier manufacturers) allegedly do not currently hold a licence with Boeing... I would think it all boils down to how enforceable any legal action would be.... and perhaps who you are making the models for (some airlines will commission a model..)

Last time Boeings' feathers were ruffled their 'representatives' went after the dealers.. which may be the only option as stuff is now appearing with no manufacturers details on it at all..

There also seems to be a theory that licencing is dependant upon run size, that anything under XXX or even XX doesnt need a licence. I have never seen any stats as such....

So as always some are seen to be 'playing the game' whilst others do not.

That actually seems more like a 'InFlight 200' subject to me. They canned theirs . . . ??
