Visited Hendon Thursday 15th April, the first time I have been for about 25 years!!!

I spent the full day there, often just wondering around the planes that were my idols since childhood. Most impressive of all was the mighty Lancaster s-sugar, I had forgotten just how beautiful she was

The Wimpy was being dismantled ( Must have only just started ) It is going away to be restored. Replacing it will be an Havoc from Australia.

Biggest disappointment was The Hawker Tempest being in a Target tug livery, It just looked wrong. There are so many WW2 schemes to chose from, it would be better in the BoB hall alongside the V-1 in a Joseph Berry scheme.

All in all a cracking day out, I won't leave it another 25 years until I go again thats for sure !!
